Cotswold Villages

Chipping Camden is located in a beautiful rural part of the Cotswolds, was populated by wool merchants and has changed little over the passage of time.

Broadway has a very wide high street with horse chestnut trees down either side. The village contains a mixture of period houses and Cotswold stone cottages which have lured visitors for centuries. Broadway is ideally located touring the Cotswold's numerous villages.

Burford is situated about 20 miles west of Oxford.
Its high street sweeps down a hill towards the river Windrush where it is crossed by a narrow three arched bridge. It contains all manner of houses, shops and inns, some dating from the 15th century. The picture, (opposite), shows the 'Tolsey' a meeting point for merchants and now converted into a museum.

These town feature antiques shops, fashion shops, fashion shops, historic pubs and restaurants. 'Morris dancers' can be seen in summer months in some of these locations.
